About the Hocking Hills

Only 35 minutes southeast of Columbus and less than 3 hours from Cincinnati, Dayton, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the Hocking Hills region is home to nine state parks, one of the largest metro parks, over 9,000 acres of state forest land, and part of the Wayne National Forest. The area is unsurpassed in its access to outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, horseback riding, biking, camping, canoeing, and bird watching. Throughout the year the area offers festivals, nature tours and live theatre, as well as historic sites, charming antique shops and fine dining.
