My wife and I moved into our new Jubach log home in June of 2017. We chose The Jubach Company because it quickly became clear they were committed to building outstanding homes on some of the nicest lots in Hocking County. Their attention to detail combined with the high quality of their work resulted in our spectacular log home. It was a pleasure to work with everyone in their company, especially Sarah, with whom we had the most contact during the project. She was always very responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and did not hesitate to answer all of our questions, including the minor ones. We were very impressed with every member of their team as it was apparent they were all very professional and focused on creating a fantastic product. Both Sarah and the rest of the team had many helpful suggestions and always tried to do things the “right way.” Our log cabin is absolutely spectacular and we love spending time in it. If you are considering building a home in the Hocking Hills area, we strongly recommend The Jubach Company. You will not be disappointed.

After many years of looking for the perfect log home, we found it in hocking county. Last April we drove down from Columbus to meet with Tim Jubach of Jubach Log Homes. We had made the trip many times previously to look at existing log homes, both new and old and were never quite happy with the total package.
We new from the minute we saw Tim’s homes; it was what we had been looking for. The craftsmanship is unbelievable, his attention to every little detail was beyond comprehension. It took our breath away.
Then we drove down the drive to where they were just starting to lay the logs. The location was very important to us. We rounded the corner of the circle drive and we knew this was going to be our future home.
We told Tim that very day, send us a contract; we were not going to let this home slip away. And the rest is history.
We now enjoy stargazing off our private balcony, or relaxing in front of the stone fireplace that goes all the way up to the ceiling. From the Jacuzzi tub off the master bath, to just looking at the exposed hand peeled ceiling beams. We enjoy everything about our new dream log home.
We have never been happier and the communication with Tim before, during and after the sale, has been wonderful. We don't just consider him a great builder, but a great and helpful neighbor!
So as we sum this up, our greatest thanks to Tim and his guys, for allowing us to follow through on our dreams, and making us happier than we could have ever imagined!

My wife and I wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how happy and satisfied we have been with our new log home. It has been almost a year now since we’ve closed and we both agree that you and your company have made it a wonderful experience. We have been very impressed with your attention to detail as well as your expediency to take care of the few small problems that we encountered. We can’t express enough how refreshing it is to have a home builder who is invested in their clientele long term and is proud to put their name on everything they build. As a business owner in a service industry I constantly strive to impress upon my own employees the values that you have obviously instilled in yours. Kyna and I want you to feel free to use us and our home in the future as a reference and a model of what home owners should expect out of a home builder.

It was a wonderful experience working with the Jubach Family designing our dream home. We knew we didn’t want a standard kit home. They worked closely with us making sure they captured ever part of our vision in the design and build of our beautiful loghome.
Every time we walk in our loghome, we still admire the quality and workmanship. The Jubach Family are one of the premiere loghome builders in central Ohio. We could not be happier....thank you for making our dream come true.
We have heard of the horrible experiences building a new home. However, we could not be happier with our choice of the Jubach Family building our new loghome. The process from the negotiations, design, construction, etc could not have gone better. It’s fantastic working with a family business who takes pride and ownership in every aspect of their work. They make sure to make you feel not like another customer but a part of their family.
We couldn’t be happier with our home. The entire process from site selection, engineering & design, construction and furnishing was simplified by everyone involved in our project. The professionalism, communication, engineering, craftsmanship and attention to detail exhibited by your team, is second to none. The Jubach Company not only builds amazing log homes, they build a solid foundation to a lifelong relationship with their customers.

Dear Mr. Jubach,
Our initial meeting with you and Sarah lasted nearly four hours. You asked what we envisioned as our dream home. You answered all of our questions and made lots of suggestions. Meeting with you was truly an education in purchasing Hocking Hills property and log home building. Your experience gave us great confidence. At no point did we ever feel any pressure to begin our project. “Patient” is a word we would use to describe you, Sarah, Christopher, and Tim, Jr.
We met with numerous Jubach customers and each expressed how pleased they are with their home. They also loved to show us their own Jubach creation. Personal design features make each home unique. We gained a lot of ideas from your clients. Honestly, we did not hear one negative comment about any Jubach log home or the company.
Sarah spent endless hours with us as we toured existing Jubach homes, looked at available property, and designed our home. With Sarah’s patience, we were able to choose everything from the hardwood and tile flooring, kitchen and bathroom countertops and sinks, hand-crafted cabinetry, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, lighting…literally everything! Her sense of style gave us great confidence as we made our selections. Tim and Christopher were great about answering all of our questions during the building process. They also took care of the post-construction punch list in a timely manner. Your children clearly take pride in the company and the beautiful homes you construct.
Your attention to detail is impeccable! We have a couple family members who work in construction, and they have commented on the unbelievable quality and craftsmanship of our beautiful log home. The yellow pine logs are solid! The trim fits perfectly! The hand-peeled railings add character and beauty! We love the quality Pella windows and top-quality interior and exterior doors. Our home is so tight, it is sometimes difficult to hear the rain and wind outside. One family member commented that our log home will be here a hundred years from now. We believe that and plan to keep it in our family for generations.
We love our Jubach log home! It feels like a vacation each time we get there. Our plan is to make it our retirement home. The Jubach Company is synonymous with quality and trust.
Thank you for making our dream come true!

We cannot begin to thank you enough for helping us to make our dream of a log home become a reality. When we met you 4 months ago, never in our wildest thoughts could we have imagined that we would be all nestled into our wonderful cabin in the woods for the New Year. You and your team made our dream possible and we cannot put into words the feelings that we have, but certainly would like to try!
When we first met you in September, we had no doubts that you and your team were capable of building our dream log cabin. Your professionalism and knowledge spoke for themselves. But what really sold us on the idea of working with you was your personal touch. The time you took to meet with us, talk with us, share ideas with us, along with your patience, really is what it was all about.
We also feel it is important to mention how truly wonderful we feel your team is. Starting with Chris, Timmy and Sarah. How proud you must be! All 3 have been so helpful to us throughout to process. Both Chris and Timmy always stopped to talk to us and walk us through the building states while we were there to visit and take it all in. They are both such talented individuals and we have truly enjoyed the time spent with them. Sarah has been a godsend too! She has been so accommodating and truly valuable to us as we tried to piece together the interior! What a wonderful family you have and we feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have worked with them.
Additionally, we want to make sure we express to you how truly wonderful your entire team is. Through each part of the building phase, we have had the opportunity to meet most everyone who was involved and what a talented group of people you have working with you! We would however, like to make a distinct mention of 2 brilliant individuals: Jon Day and John Lindinger. Jon Day is a man of all trades with many talents. His willingness to go over and above cannot go unmentioned and we are truly grateful for all he has done to make our log home warm and inviting. John Lindinger is truly an artist of his profession. His work on the landscaping has made the first impression of our home a memorable impression for all! There isn’t one guest that we have had that hasn’t mentioned the beauty of the landscape. Additionally, he has been very insightful about the surrounding area and was always willing to stop and share some helpful hints as we were getting settled.
Tim, it goes without saying that we could not be happier with our new home. The entire process has been exhilarating and we will cherish all the memories. The process from beginning to end has been wonderful, and we have you to thank for that. You have opened up the door to a whole new world for us and no words can truly express our gratitude to you. Most importantly, though, are the friendships that have come through the whole process. We hope to keep the ties knotted even though the work is done!

“Our dream started with one of the most beautiful properties available in Hocking Hills. We benefited greatly from the diligent land scouting talents of the Jubach Company. The heavily wooded 5 acres borders the Hocking Hills State Forest and has its own natural wonder...A Waterfall!”
“Our log home is the culmination of eight years of personal research into defining the best lodging available in the Hocking Hills region. My wife and I have stayed in many cabins over the years. No cabin came close to a Jubach Log Home in defining the ultimate luxury cabin experience for us and our children”
“The Jubach Company Is The Frank Lloyd Wright of Hocking Hills!”

I have wanted a log home in Hocking as long as I can remember. When I was ready to build and find some land, I did months of searching. After vetting several very reputable real estate and building companies I came upon the Jubach Company. No one company brought together a 30 year plus reputation of expertise in procuring real estate-property and building a superbly crafted log home like the Jubach’s. The time their company dedicated to finding the ideal location and crafting a high quality product was nothing short of outstanding. It was as if I was their only client. The end product is a home my family and friends will enjoy and cherish for many years to come.
In November of 2004, Frank and I made a major decision: we would start to look for property to build a log home in the Hocking Hills area. For the past eight years we rented various log cabins on our anniversary and we enjoyed the local area. After all the time spent in southern Ohio - we decided that we wanted a second home and felt that building a log home in Hocking Hills suited us rather than a cottage by a lake.
While staying at a log home in Nov. of 2004, we drove around the area and looked at the different properties for sale to get an idea of costs. We toured a log home model in the Logan area and found a brochure of Jubach Log Homes. Frank called the owner Tim Jubach that afternoon and had a long conversation with him about the various properties. During that talk, Tim suggested we go look at one of his homes being built by his son Chris and his crew. The next day we went out to see the home and were very impressed with the workmanship and with how open Chris Jubach was with our questions.
The following day we met with Tim and he showed us several areas where he had some land for sale where we could build a log cabin. After that meeting, Frank and I thought about what we saw and how we felt with Tim’s company. We were very impressed and felt he was honest with us. We also appreciated the ‘turn-key’ operation. It seemed to be a package deal – Tim would do everything from finding the land for us, build a road if we needed, and even handle all of the contractors for the home. We did not want the aggravation of trying to sub-contract for this and that. After several months, Tim was able to offer us 20 acres that we had looked at earlier. In February 2005, we bought the land, and signed on with Tim – our dream of a log home was coming true!
Over the next few months Tim was very accessible on the weekends and even through email to go over different floor plans. He was incredibly accommodating and he would offer suggestions that we never thought about, especially since we have never built a home before, let alone a log home. We walked the property several times and we decided on the best possible spot for the cabin. We wanted to be in the middle of the woods and to take the least amount of trees as possible. The construction of the road was started in April of 2005 and I remember driving up to the cabin the beginning of May and seeing this big hole (the walls were just poured for the basement).
Frank and I would come up on the weekends as often as possible to see the progress of the cabin. First we saw the deck being put on, then the logs going up for the house, the floors, the staircase, and finally the loft bedroom. It was so much fun picking out the appliances, the kitchen cupboards, the flooring, even the doors. They say that couples get stressed out while building a new home but we had so much fun doing it and seeing the progress of our very own log home. I think what made it so much fun and enjoyable was having a builder that was accommodating, honest and could give you great ideas how to build the cabin. We knew what we wanted from our home and Tim helped to make our dream possible.
We moved into our log cabin in October of 2005 and we have been very happy with it. If we have any questions or concerns, we know we can always call or email Tim and he will get back to us very quickly. We are always eager to show off our home to our family and friends and we’ve had so many compliments on the home. Tim is also able to take care of the landscaping around the home. This is something that you don’t always remember – who would think you need landscaping in the middle of the woods?!
As I said before, we are very happy with our home and I would not change a thing about the entire process; looking for the land, going over house plans, and deciding on the perfect location of the cabin. We try to come to the cabin as often as possible so we can enjoy our log home and the area surrounding Hocking Hills.

My husband and I enjoyed working with the Jubach’s so much we decided to build a second cabin on the adjacent property to our first cabin so we could accommodate more family during the holidays. They build such a quality cabin and make it so easy to work with, that it made it an easy decision for us. From the cabin design to the land selection, the Jubach’s guide you through the complicated process of building a log cabin and make it seem almost easy. The craftsmanship of the cabin builders is extremely high quality. In our second cabin, I gave them plenty of challenges since we had a smaller foot print but still wanted the big lodge feel. We were very specific about what design features we wanted since we had gone through the process once and knew exactly what we liked and did not like. The Jubach’s took our ideas and made them into a stunning cabin that included their first outdoor sauna and bath house - something they had never done before. That is the great thing about building a Jubach cabin - you have no doubt that what you challenge them with - they will be able to deliver on it. I cannot recommend them enough!

We weren't sure we wanted a log home until we met Tim Jubach. He educated us, listened to our concerns, and answered our questions, making every step along the way enjoyable. We found Jubach Log Homes / the Jubach family to be friendly, patient, and trustworthy! We love our log home and the way Jubach "protected" the acreage around it. Our log cabin is becoming a log home.
Nine years ago, Larry and I were pretty much decided on purchasing the “B” lot at Chestnut Grove. Then for whatever reason, we decided to take a look at the larger “E” lot – just for kicks, because it was more land and $ than we planned. Before I reached the end of the dirt driveway, I knew this was the place. It spoke loud and clear to me, and there was no doubt in my mind that it was the only option for me. It was as though that particular piece of land was just waiting for me to find it. I still believe it was the best lot of them all. The contours of that land and the feeling of nature’s harmony that it evoked, could only have led to Bella Luna.
You and your family made the building process painless. The decorating decisions and set up was always a labor of love for me. I can honestly say that I truly have loved Bella Luna and the experience of living in the heart of nature.
Yes, it was sad to let Bella Luna go. But we will always have the experience of Bella Luna. ( I still love that name )
Thanks for all that you have done.
